As long as the rivers flow
Life's great mystery
The cigarette tapped -
the lights dim...
All around - shadows of the night
make our fears come alive.
Dreams turn to nightmares
that make our prefabricated
reality look strange.
Indifferent, unwilling -
they make us do what
is demanded of us.
We order; they bark commands
to the kitchen slaves
Eagerly - churn on life's
great mystery -
of who we are.
Planet evil
A rush of wind - a sound of silence.
Trees bend to and fro -
as if waving to some supernatural
creature.
Gastly figures only turn out to be
the smallest woodland creature.
Our mind is only playing tricks on us.
People can do the strangest things -
make others wonder -
if they're even from the same planet.
